Family
My family is currently a small, but great family. My husband and I both grew up in Minnesota. My husband Scott works in the construction business, and we live in Fargo with our fat and lovable cat, Rocco. In our free time, we love to go to our lake place in Alexandria, visit our 3 nieces and 1 nephew, travel, and play board games. (We are very competitive game players!) We love living in Fargo, but sometimes dislike the cold weather.

I also have 2 parents, Tood and Pat, who live in Wilmar, Minnesota. My dad is a pastor, and my mom works in the education system. I also have two sisters, Sarah (20) and Hannah (18), who both are at college in Moorhead at Concordia College. I am hoping that since they are so close, we can have them come in and help us with projects! I love spending time with my sisters playing sports, making jokes, and watching movies.

Free Time
In my free time I can be found doing many things:
- playing music ( piano and singing)
- golfing and tennis
- reading
- spending time with family
- selling Mary Kay
- going to the lake/traveling
- doing a lot of crafts
- spending time with friends out and about
Education
I graduated form New Ulm High School, in New Ulm, MN, in 2010. After that, I moved up to Moorhead, MN and attended Concordia College. In my 3 and a half years there, I participated in many groups across campus, and you can still find me visiting Concordia for sporting events and alumni events. Cobbers for life! #rollcobbs

Travel
I love to
travel, and my favorite trip was my trip to Africa. In May and June of 2013, I
spent time teaching students in Rwanda, Africa. I really enjoyed my time there,
and think it would be really cool to travel back there someday. They were so
curious about how school is like in America. They were so confused when I tried
to explain what snow and a North Dakotan winter was like.
I have also been to a large majority of the United States, and I can't wait to talk about those experiences and share photos and stories with you when we study the states this year. :) This summer, I didn't travel as much as I would have liked, but I did get to spend some time in Chicago, and can't wait to talk about the history of the city with you!

I am so excited to spend this year with you! I know it will go fast, but I also know that I will treasure each and every moment spent with you this year. I can't wait to start school with you in just a few short days. :)
See you soon!
